The collection is managed by digitalbaze, Inc., a media company based and registered in San Diego, California. With the assistance of Gönül Sen-Menzel’s family, a premier selection of her paintings has been carefully transported to San Diego for preservation. Some artworks remain archived in Germany, some of the finest and rarest pieces are now proudly housed in our San Diego collection. 

Yes. Please note that there have been several notable events following her passing in 2015, including five exhibitions within a few months—one of which was organized by the mayor of Cologne, Germany. Additionally, several auctions were held. Before the closure of Gönül Sen-Menzel’s studio, there were four studio openings where her paintings were sold. Since moving to San Diego in 2015, her son William has been archiving some of his most cherished paintings and has not yet engaged in arranging exhibitions in California until 2024.
